MEET CHEF MARK
Mark moved to South Florida in 2010 to attend Culinary School at The Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale. While attending classes he honed his skills from the ground up by working in the finest local restaurants as Prep Cook, Line Cook, Banquet Captain, Sous Chef, and finally Chef. This hands on experience in all the functional areas of food preparation has given Mark a solid base in culinary services.
Throughout the years Mark continued to refine his craft by working in a variety of different eateries with multiple cuisines and multiple levels of dining, from food truck, to juice bar, to fine dining. He also spent 6 months in Spain learning the different cooking techniques of the region. These culinary experiences are evident when tasting his unique dishes. Although Italian has always been his sweet spot, which comes naturally to him after being raised on Grandma’s Sunday sauce, he can cook just about anything you crave.
Mark started his Private Chef business in 2014 and has prepared consistently delicious food for thousands of people. He’s served intimate dinners for two, small casual meals, large parties for over 100, and everything in between. On occasion he’s traveled with clients on holidays and to various client’s residences across the US.
Mark has a trusted network of friendly, outgoing and organized culinary professionals who support him when necessary. They are discrete and respectful of client’s privacy.
The joy Mark gets from feeding people is what drives him to continue to create even more delicious dishes. Mark says, “nothing makes me feel better than feeding a hungry person!”
